Katerina Violante

Director of Educational Services

Katerina Violante is the Assistant Program Director at Triton. Having spent more than 9 years working for Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes as a director and program specialist, she brings her dedicated passion and expertise in literacy to the students and families here at Triton. Her work with parents and professionals has helped identify learning needs and solutions for a wide range of students of all ages. Katerina began her journey working with children from a young age and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has continued her passion for educating herself as a graduate student at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School to earn her Master’s in Management & Leadership. She has lived in San Diego for 4 years with her husband, her dog, Fidget, and recently added to the crew her son, Dorian. The 4 of them are passionate about eating cheese together – her son’s first word, and going to the zoo!



Jessica Rush

Director of Speech & Language Pathology

Jessica earned her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2003 from the MGH-Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts, an affiliation of Massachusetts General Hospital. After earning her graduate degree, Jessica relocated to San Diego where she initially worked in the San Diego City Schools, primarily in a middle school setting. After working in the schools for nine years, Jessica wanted to broaden her expertise into a clinical environment and she transitioned into providing services at a pediatric out-patient clinic. She worked at the Crimson Center for Speech & Language for 11 years, six of which she was honored to serve as the Assistant Director. Jessica founded Communication Spectrums™ in 2020 in order to continue working with clients and their families in the San Diego area. And it is with great excitement that Jessica joins the Triton Support Services leadership team. Jessica enjoys supervising and mentoring new clinicians in the field as well as being a part of an interdisciplinary team in order to deliver collaborative and innovative services to clients. Jessica has experience working with children from early intervention (age 0-3) through young adulthood, as well as with adult clients seeking assistance with stuttering and accent modification. With nearly 20 years in the field treating a variety of communication disorders (including speech sound production, receptive/expressive language, pragmatics, and stuttering), experience in the school setting, clinical setting, as well as completing IEEs (Independent Educational Evaluations), Jessica is a well-rounded and experienced speech pathologist. Jessica is PROMPT© trained, certified in the Hanen-More Than Words® Program and is also a certified trainer in the Compton PESL method (Pronouncing English as a Second Language)



Marjorie Block, M.S., OTR/L

Director of Occupational Services

Marjorie graduated from the University of Southern California, having studied under Dr. Jean Ayres. She completed graduate work at Boston University and has worked in the field of Pediatric Occupational Therapy for over thirty-five years. She has vast experience including working within public and private schools, California Children’s Services, and Rady Children’s Hospital. For many years, Marjorie was the co- owner of a private therapy clinic serving many San Diego families with special needs.

Marjorie and her husband of 51 years, have two grown children and three grandsons. Her interests include: Bible study, nutrition/longevity research, as well as biking, hiking, kayaking and cross-country skiing.
